Manhattan Beachwear, Inc. has formed a global partnership with BCBG Group. Under the new agreement, the company will design and distribute women's swimwear for BCBG Max Azria and BCBGeneration.
Kevin F. Mahoney, president and chief executive officer of Manhattan Beachwear said in a release, "We are pleased and excited to enter into a partnership with Marquee Brands," owner of all of BCBG's brands.
The collections will be designed in BCBG's modern romantic style and Mahoney added that the BCBG swim lines will be "very complementary to [Manhattan Beachwear's] strategic goals."
Manhattan Beachwear manufactures swimwear for 16 brands. It produces private-label collections and also carries licenses for brands including Trina Turk, Lucky Brand, Ralph Lauren and Polo Ralph Lauren, 24th and Ocean, La Blanca, Hobie Swim, Nanette Lepore and Kenneth Cole.
The first BCBG swim collections will launch Fall 2018 and will be distributed online through the two brands' websites. They will also be sold in BCBG Max Azria stores and at select retailers globally.
