After two seasons showing in Paris, the fashion brand founded by Lazaro Hernandez and Jack McCollough will return to the Big Apple in September to show its spring/summer 2019 collection.
The show schedule for Paris Haute Couture Week, running July 1-5, recently published by French fashion's governing body -- the Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode -- makes no mention of Proenza Schouler, which has shown collections during the French capitals' couture week for the last two seasons. This, it transpires, is because the label has decided to return to New York.
Proenza Schouler's two designers announced the news on the American label's Instagram page. While the post doesn't give an exact date for the brand's next show, it does state that it will be held in September as part of New York Fashion Week.
Labels Proenza Schouler and Rodarte caused a stir in July 2017 when they left New York to show collections in Paris. Like Proenza Schouler, Rodarte doesn't feature on the Fédération's official provisional schedule for Paris Haute Couture Week in July.
