Tiffany Haddish confirms that Sanaa Lathan was the actress who bit Beyoncé in the face.
The 38-year-old actress discussed the Love and Basketball star in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter published Wednesday after claiming in the spring that an actress bit Beyoncé at a party in December.
"I'm super good friends with her stepmom and her dad, and they were mad at me," Haddish said of Lathan's family. "They were like, 'Why would you do this to the family? You know, black actresses, you guys have to stick together, it's so hard for you guys to get work as it is, why would you try to ruin her career?'"
"But I didn't try to ruin her career. I never said her name! I was just trying to say how Beyoncé kept me from goin' to jail that night," she added. "I coulda just shut my whole career down."
The hashtag #WhoBitBeyonce became a trending topic in March after Haddish told GQ an actress bit the "Formation" singer at a party. She said in the interview that Beyoncé told her the person was "on drugs."
"There was this actress there, that's just, like, doing the mostest," Haddish said without naming the person. "She bit Beyoncé in the face."
Haddish is known for the film Girls Trip, and will star in the new movie Night School with Kevin Hart.
