ANSONIA
A brother-sister duo of members of Ansonia Rescue and Medical Services made a local woman’s life just a little bit cooler on Sunday.
[post_ads]According to a post on the ARMS Facebook page, member Krystle Bieber went on a call last week to the “extremely hot second floor apartment” of a patient for an unrelated medical issue. The woman’s air conditioner had broken, the post said, and the apartment was “unbearable” during last week’s heat wave.
On Sunday, Bieber and her brother Billy, who also belongs to ARMS, delivered the woman an air conditioner from their home that wasn’t being using.
“Billy installed the unit in the woman’s window for her and got the cool air flowing; she was so appreciative,” the post read. “Just another example of the amazing and selfless people we have working here.”
