A leopard was tranquilized and relocated after it wandered onto the grounds of an Indian government building.
Security camera footage from the Gujarat Secretariat, a Gandhinagar building that houses numerous government offices, shows the leopard entering the premises around 2 a.m. Monday morning by crawling under a gate.
Officials said the leopard was spotted by police, who reported the invading animal to the Forest Department.
More than 100 Forest Department officials were sent to the scene and conducted a 12-hour search of the area. The leopard was found hiding in a culvert near a public garden and was shot with a tranquilizer dart.
The animal was safely relocated to Indroda Park, near Gandhinagar.
